Queensgate Festive Feast 2018

Let’s be honest, one of the best parts of Christmas in the plethora of incredible food available. Every year, retailers and restaurants go wild with new festive launches and this year, Queensgate Shopping Centre invited my fellow local bloggers and me to try out what they had to offer.

Unique gift experiences with Buyagift*

It’s coming to that time of year.

“What do you want for Christmas?”
“Er dunno. What about you?”
“I’m not sure…”

Choosing what you want for Christmas used to be so much easier as a child. I used to love flipping through the Argos catalogue with my sister; drawing big circles around the toys we wanted. But now, as an adult, there’s not too much I’m in need of. Money is great, of course, but I always find I very rarely actually spend it on anything decent. Instead, it ends up being spent on stuff like petrol or coffee.

The low down: October 2018

I want it all and I’m not sure that’s a bad thing

I was recently having a conversation with a friend about holidays and the countries we wanted to visit in our lifetimes. The list was pretty endless but still potentially realistic. ‘But I also want a bigger house,’ I interjected. And with that, I began to think of everything else I also wanted. The high-flying career. The nice house. Marriage and children. A social life. As society would deem it, I want to have it all.
