If chocolate isn’t one of the first things you think about when it comes to Easter, you’re completely fibbing! That said, not everyone is as big a fan of chocolate as I (the horror!), so when the Biscuiteers got in touch and asked if they could send me something from their Easter range, I was intrigued to find out if they could give me the same satisfaction as a good old hunk of chocolate does. gratefulAfter having the busiest week and feeling particularly stressed, I decided to get positive in this weeks post and compile a list of things to be thankful for. Hopefully, a lot of these are universal to us all but you might find a couple that are particularly relevant to me! I really enjoyed writing this post and it truly did the job – reading through this leaves me in a much better mood. Yes, there are all those big things like having a roof over our heads and access to clean water and we should be appreciative of all that too. But this post is primarily all about the little things. I’d love to know yours so let me know in the comments! View Post

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t enjoy going to the theatre. Whether it’s a show you’ve seen multiple times or a brand new one, there’s always such a sense of excitement: going into the theatre, finding your seat and waiting for the lights to dim and the show to start. You can imagine how thrilled I was to receive an email from Milton Keynes theatre inviting me to watch Hedda Gabler on its UK and Ireland tour. Not only that, but I would get to take part in a behind the scene tour with Company Manager, Sian Wiggins.

how to blog with a full time job
I’ve spoken a few times before about the fact I don’t want to be a full-time blogger (mainly in my post here), which is all fine and dandy but that then means you have to balance your blog along something else – in my case, a full-time job. Admittedly, it’s taken me some time to get to a place where I’m happy with that balance and after nearly three years, I reckon I’m in a pretty good place to give you my own tips on how I manage.

Triple Chocolate Smartie Cookie

Considering they one of my favourite things to bake, I can’t quite believe that I’ve never included a cookie recipie on Musings & More. When in New York, I had an incredible M&M cookie (see here) that I loved so much that I desperately wanted to recreate. So here’s my attempt for your enjoyment! I’d actually go as far as saying it’s even better than the original as there’s 3x the amount of chocolate (it is me after all)! These babies are so quick to make that you could easily whip up a batch the night before work or when you just fancy something (very) sweet. I went with M&Ms but there are so many different combinations you could make these cookies you’re own: salted caramel, peanut butter cups, smarties…the list is endless. Enjoy!
