Born Pretty Review

Every so often, I get contacted by companies asking me to pick a few items from their website for review. The majority of the time, I take a look and end up denying their request, simply because I don't like the products and it would feel a disservice to my blog to promote something I don't like, simply for the sake of a few freebies. However when Born Pretty* got in touch, it was a case of there was too much to choose from. And with such brilliant prices, I just had to tell you about them. Now onto some fantastic products!

I've always adored layered bracelets but I was particularly drawn to this one because of my love of quotes and as a pessimist, this is the kind of motivation I could do with having around on a daily basis. The infinity symbol and all it represents is one that has always resonated with me on a personal basis. Considering this bracelet is a mere £2.37, it feels worth so much more a really makes a statement. I can confidently say that is probably my favourite of all my picks! There are also lots of other variations, I for one have got my eye on this Harry Potter inspired beauty!

SCENERY PHONE CASE

I didn't actually get a chance to put this phone case on my own Iphone as my boyfriend Matt pretty much swooped it from me and took it for his own! I don't blame him though - there's something quite majestic about this mountain scene. I like to think of it as somewhere in Iceland. The only annoyance about this case is the wording across the centre of the phone, I'd personally prefer if this wasn't there as it looks really out of the place. That doesn't stop this from being a lovely case to house your much loved phone in though.

LONG LASTING LIPSTICK

I'll admit, I was a little sceptical about how good a lipstick that costs only £1.50 (yep, you read me right). There are a range of nine colours available, ranging from barbie pink to a coral orange. Being quite girly, naturally I liked the gold and shimmery pink combo of the packaging although it does very clearly feel plasticky and a bit cheap. I went for a deep red, perfect for this season and a more purple toned crimson. I did find it took me a while to build up the colour to satisfy me personally but if you don't mind spending a bit of time doing that, you can grab yourself a great bargain. I think these would also be great for people starting out in make up.

There is such a wide variety of bits to choose from on Born Pretty that you can't help but get lost amongst the make up, homeware, clothes and so much more! With free delivery, your items will take 2-4 weeks to arrive, which is pretty good considering how far they are coming from. Born Pretty have also offered my readers 10% off any order you might want to treat yourself to! Happy Shopping!

  4. So loving the phone cases! I tend to stay away from makeup from sites like these just because I'm not too sure what goes into their beauty products. Lovely review, Emily!

  14. That phone is sooo pretty, you're right. And I totally agree the wording in the middle doesn't compliment the scenery at all. Better left out.

  21. Lovely bracelet & the phone case, hon. You picked well, and I am sure it wasn't easy. How gorgeously pigmented those lippies look on the outside. It's a shame they are not that pigmented when you apply them.
Great review of a few products from Born Pretty, girlie.
