Say Cheerz to the memories! + GIVEAWAY!

I take a lot of photos. And I mean a lot. I have this innate need to preserve memories. I think it comes from my fear of forgetting. So more often than not, I will whip out my camera or phone to capture anything I want to freeze in time. Over the last couple of years, I was fed up of my photos sitting unloved on my hard drive and began getting them printed so I could store them in Albums and flick through them easily.

Now for a long time I've been lusting after a polaroid camera of sorts, but two things have prevented me from owning one - 1. The price of owning the actual camera 2. The price I'd have to pay on top for the prints themselves! So when Cheerz let me pick out something from their website, I dived straight for the Cheerz box*. This solved my problem perfectly, I could print lots of my photos cheaply and in the distinct polaroid style that I loved so much.

Ordering couldn't be easier. You can upload straight from your computer or even social media accounts such as Facebook or Instagram. After, it allows you to double check that the photos you choose will fit in the polaroid frame and you can adjust this how you please. You are able to add filters to your photos and text at this point too which is great to help personalise your prints, especially if they are a present for someone else! You then enter your payment details and that's it! Delivery is also really speedy too, I ordered mine on a Wednesday night and they arrived on the Monday!

I chose the Cheerz box specifically because I loved the little box it came in although the photos were are far too nice to keep tucked away. You can choose between two styles and they would make a perfect gift for a special occasion or even Christmas! You can also include a little note card if you want to pass on a message. There are lots of other products to choose between such as magnets and posters which I know I'll be going back for!

I was really impressed with the quality of the polaroids, they are really glossy and lovely to leaf through. I chose a variety of different images to have printed such as holiday photos, family pictures and even a few motivational quotes - we all know how much I love those!

I actually decided to display a few of my polaroid's on this cork map that we have up in our spare room. For every country we have visited, I've printed a photo and have attached it with a piece of string which leads directly to the place on the map. We are determined to visit lots of countries together so this is a great way to survey where we have been and where we want to go next. It's also a great physical reminder of the wonderful places we have already been that we get to see every day.

Now for the best bit! I have three vouchers worth £20 to be spent on whatever you'd like on Cheerz.co.uk. Unfortunately this giveaway is only open to those in the UK but it's very easy to enter and you simply just have to follow the steps below! You'll have roughly a whole month to enter as the competition will end on Sunday the 6th of December so you'll be able to spend your prize just in time for Christmas!

  6. This is SUCH an awesome concept! I always say that the only downside to being to always take photos with phones or digital cameras is that we are never forced to actually get them developed! It's definitely time for me to do what you have done and get some printed so I can actually flip through them :) I adore all the quote ones, but I do have to say your idea of the places you've visited and stringing them to the map - amazing, Emily!!! :)

  8. These look stunning! I agree the cost and buying new photo paper refills etc can be bit too much for polaroid cameras. Entered x

  11. Those are adorable! A fantastic idea for a Christmas present.

I have been trying to print out more photos and put them in an album (rather than leaving them on the hard drive) but I love the polaroid look of these! Your idea of how to display them is fantastic.
